Connection Somatics was created by Dr Chris Philippi, DACM as an amalgamation of deep healing work he has encountered during his 20 years as a healer.

The work is a synthesis of wisdom from body work modalities, indigenous traditions from all over the world, and eastern healing philosophies ranging from Ayurveda, Tibetan Medicine, and Traditional East Asian Medicine.

The largest influence on this body of work, however came from Dr. Phillippi’s experience with The Adult Attachment Repair Method (AARM) created by Peter Cummings, LWSC.
